SWN Shipping is a shipping Support Company operated by experienced professionals in shipping, logistics, drilling and port management sector. It extends support to its foreign principals (Ship Owners and ship managers) based out of Dubai and Europe.

Company is presently doing commercial management and technical management support of tankers operating worldwide for its foreign principals.

The company is based out of Dubai and Mumbai.

This requirement is for vessels owned /operated / chartered by our foreign clients.

Location – CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai

Responsibilities Key Deliverables – commercial and marine management of oil tankers

  • Selected candidate will have to manage oil tankers especially product tankers
  • Overseeing complete commercial management of vessels including but not limited to cargo loading / discharging, voyage management, pre-fixture and post fixture activities, demurrages and invoicing.
  • Managing suitability of vessels for intended voyages and follow up on vetting inspections.
  • Liaison with Agents / charterers and other bodies for commercial voyages
  • Management of cargo operations, claims and follow up with Insurance companies.
  • Bunker management of vessels (supplies / voyage requirements).
  • Vessel performance monitoring related to charter party requirements.
  • Monitoring of vessel cargo intake, change of grades requirements, slop management etc.
  • Keeping Owners / Charterer aware of sanctioned, restricted and war zone areas.
  • Follow up on ISPS requirement, security guards etc.
  • Overseeing a team of operation executives.

Cognitive abilities

Build relationships with pool partners, and owners and provide feedback to management services for customer satisfaction. Ability to work in accordance with documented procedures with attention to detail and accuracy. Possess good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate with different stakeholders with different backgrounds and ranks.

Education Qualification

Master Mariner

General Experience

2 to 3 Years as Master on tankers and 1-2 Years of shore experience. Gas experience is added advantage. Good communication skills and computer skills.

Compensation

Compensation: Company will adequately compensate deserving candidates.
Preference will be given to candidates from neighboring localities.
